Seguendo questo link : http://www.tijsat.tu.ac.th/issues/2007/no3/2007_V12_No3_7.PD... , mi sembra si faccia riferimento a dei cicli di riscaldamento, ma non so se esista un termine più specifico in italiano. Inlet e outlet farebbero quindi riferimento all'inizio e alla fine del ciclo.
