German term

fallen nach Initiierung an

German to English Bus/Financial General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
To put this clause in context, here is the rest of the text:

Als Gegenleistung erhält die Apotheke von xy:
- 500 € Set-Up Kosten (fallen nach Initiierung an)

It is possible that I am unnecessarily confusing myself, but I can't think how best to translate this.
anfallen = to accumulate, accrue etc.
Therefore "arising after initiation"....
But wouldn't set up costs arise before initiation?

Any ideas?

Thanks! :-)
Peter Bajorek (asker) Feb 11, 2009:
"xy" stands for the Sponsor of the clinical trial. This is an extract from a clinical trial agreement between the Sponsor and the hospital pharmacy.

what does xy stand for? can you please explain the context and/or post more of the German

payable after initiation

With the reference to a "Gegenleistung" - or something seemingly due in return for services offered this appears to be an initiation of a partnership or contract of sorts.
