This refers to the inspection of the suitability of a site for obtaining soil to replace contaminated soil on an industrial site.
La evidencia de actividades de disposición histórica puede incluir, sin estar limitada, a características tales como basura, escombros o evidencia de que la superficie del suelo haya sido quemada, que existan áreas de perturbación de la tierra que no coincidan con el terreno circundante, ***vegetación sometida a esfuerzo***, y sobretodo, que no existan manchas en la superficie del suelo, así como evidencia de tráfico de vehículos hacia el sitio, que corresponda a áreas potenciales de excavación y entierros históricos.

I'm sure it mostly means that the soil has not suffered damage from outside influences such as traffic, waste dumping, etc.
Perhaps the correct translation would be unspoiled vegetation'.

: that's how botanists describe the vegetation. Stress is usually lack of water, but could also be pollution or excessive heat.
