English term or phrase: annunciator
We have a variety of electronic weight indicators with various functions. Many of the functions cause a specific annunciator to illuminate. For example, "Press the TARE key and the NET annunciator is illuminated." I have seen annunciator translated as "indicador" but that does not work for me as we use it for "indicator." "Anunciador" sounds like an advertiser to me. Suggestions?

panel de señalización eléctrica

Explanation:
According to dict. Routledge.
It can also be "cuadro indicador" but as you say you don't want use the word "indicador", "panel de señalización" would be the best option

testigo/LED

Explanation:

http://buscon.rae.es/draeI/SrvltGUIBusUsual?TIPO_HTML=2&LEMA...
