D'après le Langenscheidt...

Par rapport à la réponse de Michael, je pense que l'écartement des rails est plutôt Spurweite.
D'après Wikipédia :

"Zwischen Spurmaß und Spurweite besteht folgender Zusammenhang:
[i]Spurweite = Spurmaß + Spurspiel - 1 mm[/i]
Die Differenz von ca. einem Millimeter rührt daher, dass Spurmaß und Spurweite nicht auf derselben Höhe gemessen werden."
