burritos

Explanation:
They're very similar to burritos and are sold by Taco Bell, a fast food chain in the US that specializes in Mexican food such as tacos, burritos, etc. A burrito is a tortilla (kind of a thin bread made of corn or wheat flour) and filled with meat and lettuce, tomatoes. It would seem that someone is giving away this food.

Actually, I just checked and chalupas aren\'t made with tortillas. Instead it\'s a fried bread.

Taco Bell\'s Chalupa bread (Indian fry bread)

2 1/2 c. flour
1 T. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. vegetable shortening
1 c. milk
oil for deep frying

'Drop the Chalupa' - Ñhalupa giveaway/ Chalupa shot

Explanation:
In basketball (or American football), the Chalupa shot is, I think the one that wins your team the game. A chalupa giveaway is I guess letting the opposing team in for a matchwinning attack.

It comes from the expression 'drop the chalupa' which is a household catchphrase in the States, but doesn't seem to have a precise definition.
It seems to mean something along the lines of 'give it a rest', 'stop flogging a dead horse' For example:
"For example, when stuck in an ugly argument where there's clearly no hope of communicating reasonably any more, you could say that sometimes it's best to just drop the chalupa and walk away"

A chalupa is a mexican burger-type affair made with fried tortillas and sour cream.

Writeaway is right about the \'giveaway\', I am wrong. But all the rest is I think just about on target
