I would have thought it meant the weld beads but how can you inspect all the beads while only inspecting 10% of the welds?

agree  Bourth (X): Or "pipe node" since it is a node of pipes, not node of welds. On 2nd thoughts, better still: "weldED node" (since there might be screw fittings, etc.)
