I have countered a problem with a term - bench.
I have been provided with definition for verb: Bench is the act of placing the machine over a known position to initialize the quidance system.
But I am not completely sure about its reproduction in Latvian.
Examples:
Bench Laser
Bench height value not consistent with vehicle elevation.
I would appreciate, if somebody can give an idea, how it should look in Latvian or maybe more precise explanation.

līmeņa atzīme
Any chance that it is related to surveying or earthworking? In that case, the verb might be "noteikt izejas/atskaites punktu". "Līmeņa atzīme" is how Tilde dictionary translates "bench-mark".

darbagalds
Kā lietvārds "bench" tehniskā nozīmē viennozīmīgi ir "darbagalds", darbības vārda kontekstā iespēju ir bez gala, atkarībā no konteksta.

: Jaa, noteikti darbagalds. 'Pagoogleejot' šajā kontekstā bench varbūt arī ir iespējams lietots kā variants kopā ar kādu vārdu ka pretstats mobilām (pārvietojamām) iekārtām, bet statīvas, kā tādas kurām vajadzīga speciāla darbavirsma utt
