German to English Social Sciences Education / Pedagogy Ausbildungsplanung

This comes from a list of duties and preparations (see full expression below) which a tutor is expected to fulfil when looking after a trainee at work and this refers to the stage when the tutor is introducing the trainee to the job (in this case in the building trade). I know the expression *parcour* from show jumping but nowehere else. Ican't think of anything better than "training course"-can anyone offer a more interesting alternative? Many thanks.
