English term
cradle
English to Danish
Medical
Medical: Instruments
This is a proofreading project about a table on which patients are placed during a scan.
"None of the accessories support the full weight of a patien. If you sit, stand, or otherwise apply excessive pressure to these devices, they break ot come off the cradle and may cause injury"
And further on
"Return the gantry tilt to 0 degree upright position, latch the cradle, and adjust the able to a comforable height for patient loading and unloading."
and further on
To prevent punching or crushing of the patient's extremities, keep the patient's hands and feet away from the edge of the moving table top/cradle and its surrounding equippment....."
It has been translated to "sengekrone" - But I am not sure about this.

vugge, leje

Comment: "Thank you very much. I conferred with the client - and they confirmed - leje is the right term."

sengehest

understel
Probably, it should be remembered that this isn't really about a "bed", but a "table" for scan.
L&H Teknisk ordbog offers translations of "cradle" into:
- "kedelstrø"
- "understel"
- "vugge"
- "sikkerhedsnet under højspændingsledning"
At first glance, I would guess that "understel" comes closest in this connection, but still difficult to say without further context.
