un peu juste / un peu limite Explanation: My understanding would be that we speak about the capacities or performances of the car from a technical viewpoint. It is too tight: e.g. it is not powerfull, fast etc. enough to win the race. Really tight in the middle: in the middle of the race/lap, its performances proved to be really poor. "Un peu juste" can be used e.g. when a shirt is a bit too small, when grades are a bit too weak to pass an exam... "Un peu limite" is almost spoken language (limite here stands for "*à la* limite"), Lany I do not know if this would fit in your text. |
