Here's the thing. I need to translate ticket without a context, meaning I need a generic word that could mean either "transportation ticket" or "entrance ticket". The trick is this, I need it for a Spanish from Spain target population but the same text will also be presented to US Spanish population. Now, I know that in Spain the most common word is billete, but I'm concerned that for US Spanish this would sound too odd for ticket. My Spanish is from Mexico and I know that billete there would sound funny for ticket. If I leave it in English, I know people would understand, but it's not my favorite option. Any thoughts on this will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
