Die Maschinenrechner aller XXX Bearbeitungszentren die ab der Messe xxxx. bis 5. April 2008) bestellt werden sind ohne Mehrpreis mit einer „Light“ Version der Möbelplanungs- und Produktionssoftware CabinetControl ausgestattet.

CabinetControl Light erscheint als neuer Reiter in der Bedienoberfläche der CNC Zentren und erlaubt eine einfache und schnelle Planung von Einzelmöbeln am BAZ. Nach dem Design der Möbel gibt die Software auf Knopfdruck die kompletten CNC-Daten an die Maschine aus. Einmal geplante Möbel können auch abgespeichert und jederzeit wieder aufgerufen bzw. modifiziert werden.

I wanted to call this CabinetControl Basic but my client prefers "Light" in English as well. I believe this would not be properly understood and would like some colleagues' opinions.

Technical English these days is rife with potentially ambiguous terms, so one more won't make too much difference.
