@Anca Nitu: Confuziune se mai poate naşte şi în cazul retractului litigios. Nu există confuziune, de "ex. cînd omul are 2 companii şi una vinde celeilalte ceva", fiindcă acestea, fiind persoane juridice, nu se confundă nici între ele, nici cu fondatorul.

Context In Codul Civil: Cind unul din debitori devine erede unic al creditorului, sau cind creditorul devine unic erede al unui din debitori, confuziunea nu stinge creanta decit pentru partea debitorului sau a creditorului

CONFUSION OF RIGHTS, contracts. When the qualities of debtor and creditor are united in the same person, there arises a confusion of rights, which extinguishes the two credits; for instance, when a woman obliges marries the obligor, the debt is extinguished.
Example sentence:

Rights are said to be merged when the same person who is bound to pay is also entitled to receive. This is more properly called a confusion of rights
