murabi (mullani) islamischer Gelehrter, der an einer Madrasa studiert hat Explanation: Dieser Titel wird insbesondere auf dem indischen Subkontinent für die Absolventen einer Madrasa verwendet, vergl. die Links der Wikipedia; da in Pakistan das islamische Recht auch bei Eheschließungen angewandt wird, muß ein Gelehrter (Geistlicher) die Eheschließung offiziell bestätigen. murabi (mullani) Mullah/religiöser Gelehrter Explanation: Where "Mullah" does not carry a formal sense, Maulana is often the word of choice for addressing to Muslim religious scholars. Maulana is more often associated with formal qualification following religious study. I would tend to render it with Mullah. However, what makes me hesitating is the fact, that the Ahmedia Sect is not considered to be Muslim amongst the majority of Muslims. |
