I like Walter's ideas too, because they reflect my understanding of tapped, which includes connotations of taking advantage of your connections (tapped as in tapping a pine tree for resin), but I'm not sure if that is implicit in this context. Perhaps you can confirm. Anyway, I've gone for a very neutral expression.
