There is usually a list of finalists who receive diplomas or some form of certificates. I don't think these certificates are called "diplomas," however, so I will stick to "Finalist" for now. Thank you. |

According to Lingvo 12, it means 'student' in a science context, but in general means the winner of a prize or award
