However I have found out what this means now - but don't know what the English is.
The context is roof bars for cars
Les affectations précises couvertes (marque, modèle, bornage dates)
So what it means is when you buy your roof bars, the particular roof bars which are suitable for your car, knowing that the same roof bars can be fitted to several different models of car.
But what's this in English? Thanks for any help.
