PROCEDURE FOR SIGNING LEASES
The Mission’s legal adviser should be consulted in order to ascertain that the proposed lease conforms with local law and custom ***making due allowance for ***diplomatic or consular privilege and immunities (for which reference should be made to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the Convention on Consular Relations).
Signature
All leases in the name of the Government of Australia must be signed for and on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia by the Minister’s delegate at the post.
