Yueyin, 对于句子的结构，我最开始也是你这样理解的。但看了图片后开始觉得是不是句子的理解有些偏差。现在再想想，还是觉得你的理解是对的。如果encased in lock 是个过去分词短语作后置修饰语的话，lock前怎么会没有冠词呢？所以，就应该是lock-stitched。你说起编织法，这倒提醒我了。其实，就有“锁编”这种编织方法呢。
