People do not out of their free will lower the selling price on their house. The economy dictates that the prices are lower and that the housing starts decline. Therefore, these are not measures that are taken, but automatic responses to the economy. People will always want to get the highest price for their house, a builder will always want to build as many houses as possible.

When one speaks of KORREKTUR in the economic sense, it can also refer to an ADJUSTMENT in the sense of VERÄNDERUNG.

Sasika, I think, it can be interpreted either way. Corrective measures is preferable here
