Widerruf von Stempeln Explanation: From a browse through your reference, it looks as if in Germany the "Stempel", or stamp, is in the form of a separate certification which would be invalidated in the instance given. It doesn't appear that the German actually uses an exact equivalent of our "obliterate", perhaps rather surprisingly, but just "withdraws the approval", upon which the certificate must be returned. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2006-12-10 13:33:16 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- See in particular § 25 and § 34.1.6 ("Entwertungszeichen"). So it may also be a separate stamp. |
