primeter sensor Explanation: Perimeter Sensors Magnetic contacts detect the opening of a door or window on the perimeter of a protected premises. There are different types of contacts relating to size, color and mounting specifications. However, they all share a basic technology of breaking or creating an electric circuit which sets off the alarm. http://www.amcest.com/products/burglary_s.htm Perimeter Sensors * Help protect possible entry points to your house * Usually located at windows and doors * Common types are glassbreak and magnetic contact sensors http://www.safcosecurity.com/public/perimetr.html -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 mins (2006-12-06 13:35:46 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- ovviamente ho scritto male: PERIMETER SENSOR |

peripheral sensor Explanation: See the link below. "Peripheral devices" are additional parts of a system, an extension of the whole alarm system, just as a printer is a peripheral device to a computer. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 12 hrs (2006-12-07 02:19:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I have done some additional research and found that the general standard alarm system term for this is a "zone sensor" which can be mounted on doors or windows.. The specific configuration lingo for what you are referring to is Contactors (which are magnetic systemdriven and mounted on doors or windows) Also included on the link are other devices and their respective names in english. Good luck!! see the link below http://www.alarm-me.com/diy-alarms-1-alarm-basics.html Reference: http://www.homesecuritystore.com/autogen/EZS-871-DS200SyberE... |
