On May 28, 2004, I posted the following question on the term "hide and seek":

I received some very informative answers. However, In looking back at that question, I wonder if any of the terms suggested were actually more suitable for a different game called "peek-a-boo." If not, then what is peek-a-boo called in various Arab dialects. In Qatif, Saudi Arabia, we call it تيه (pronounced TAY). What do you say when you play this game with a baby in other Arab regions?

Nesrin: It's not actually a "game" - in response to Halahulla - just something you say to surprise a baby after hiding or covering your face. Personally, I prefer to say "أنا أهو", but I guess بخ is more common.
