agree  Zoltan Bartok: Kiváltani azt szokás, ami korábban pl. "be lett adva" (zálogba). Ez esetben "redeem". A "receptet kivált" használat helytelen, de régóta megszokott. Angolba lehetőleg ne vigyük át. Ha netán ott is így használják, beszéljük le róla őket. :)

neutral  juvera: Zoltán, nem lehet lebeszélni az angolokat a redeemről, mert a fill nekik teljesen mást jelent, és ti is belekeveredtek, mint ahogy János válasza is mutatja. A redeem azt is jelenti, hogy kicserél valamit, itt precízen a receptet a gyógyszerre.

A fill the prescription azért nem jó, mert azt a gyógyszerész csinálja, tehát tulajdonképpen kiadja a receptre a gyógyszert - az a fill the prescription. Ezért kell műveltető igét használni angolul.
