I have lots of questions here, but the main one is what is D.O.?

Also, why is conta followed by ordenado with an 'o'? Is it a typo?

D.O. stands for "Depósito à ordem" which means current account.
"Conta ordenado" is a wage deposit account where all wages are automatically deposited.

... ordenado ... is "pay". Refers to a specific bank account, opened by the employer in the name of the employee, in which employer deposits the employee's pay.
