Löschangriff

German to English Tech/Engineering Textiles / Clothing / Fashion protective clothing
Bei Brandeinsätzen fühlten sich die mit einem Schutzanzug x ausgerüsteten Feuerwehrleute auch nach mehreren Löschangriffen körperlich-mental in so guter Verfassung, dass sie länger den Löscheinsatz fortsetzen konnten als ihre Kollegen, die den y getragen hatten.

Does anyone have a good alternative to "firefighting" which I'm sick of using?! TIA

i.e. they could carry on working longer than their colleagues who wore linen suits (whatever)

You could also write "When called out" for the opening "Bei Brandeinsätzen ..."

As strange as it sounds, "fire attack + firefighting" get over 60.000 googlies.
"Fire fighting deployment" scores 6.
