that favors social integration

The sociological concept of "integration" more widely used in the American sociological tradition than in the French, has, paradoxically, "descended" to the public in France and has not in the USA...So much in France that state policy has for the last 15 years (or so) officially combatted "l'excusion" which is the opposite of "integration"
