German to English Marketing Construction / Civil Engineering word play
"Die Wege vom Kopf zur Hand sind bei uns nicht unüberbrückbar lang", beteuert Frau X. Als Mittelständler legt das Unternehmen Wert auf persönliche Nähe: Vor allem zu den Kunden, zu den Projekten und natürlich auch zu den Mitarbeitern. Eine Einstellung, die Mißverständnissen in der Zusammenarbeit vorbeugt.

The background is a company that specialises in shopfitting (which is why I chose the field of civil engineering). I don't want to say that work from hand to mouth, as that has negative connotations. Can someone help me reformulate the sentence please?
