German to English Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial Cleaning Instructions(?)
"Erforderliches Volumen Reinigungsbehälter
Nachschärfemenge Reiniger pro Reinigungsdurchgang"

This is actually my entire job - just a couple of sentences I've been asked to translate. So it is also all the context I have.

I haven't got the slightest idea what "Nachschärfemenge" means. There are no Google hits for it at all. TIA for any light you can shed on this highly obscure word.

Thanks Thank you David and the peer graders for your assistance. The end client ultimately shed light on this bizarre term, explaining that it was synonymous with "Verbrauchsmenge"! Why the original author couldn't have said "Verbrauchsmenge" in the first place, instead of employing such a confusing and obscure term, I don't know. Were it not for the end client's explanation though, I would have gone with "top-up quantity". So thanks again for your efforts.

"nachschärfen" is literally to "sharpen up" so maybe by extension in this context ......
