Piston friction test
Meßgrößen: p = f(t), *Wegbeginnzeit* tw1 bei s = 0 mm, Geschwindigkeit v = f(s, t)

Another extract from a description of a piston friction test.
I was thinking perhaps "displacement start time"....
Thanks is advance.

time at start of travel
... as a general translation, but as this is a piston, 'time at start of stroke' would be OK.
'Weg' is usually 'travel along a defined path' or 'distance travelled' in a mechanical context.
'Displacement', besides being a more general term (and one lacking the suggestion of motion along a path) is inadvisable in this context because it normally refers to the volume swept by the piston (cylinder displacement).
