English term

poison

English to German Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering fan assembly
Aus der Montageanleitung eines Tischventilators:

"Adjust the *poisons* of the grille retaining clips to ensure they are engaged correctly on the rim."

position (Typo?)

Hello,

This is my best guess but ask the customer. They tryed to type "position", the spell-checker interpreted it and "poison" is the rather strange result.

agree jccantrell : Would be my guess, too. I have those on the fan in the office and, if you remove them to clean the grille, they are a pain in the neck to get right without breaking them!

agree Monika Kifin (X) : I think so as well. It looks like a spelling mistake and the term position makes sense in this context.

neutral Karin Klinke (X) : could it also be "points" ?
