Limitado en un principio a la formación especializada de postgraduados para el acceso a puestos directivos de las empresas, pasa a formar parte del Instituto en 1960, incorporando en su nueva modalidad la carrera universitaria de Ciencias Empresariales, simultaneada en alguna de sus especialidades con la de Derecho.
