Leave it out Explanation: It means "per procurationem" ("pp" or "p.p." for short) - I wouldn't translate it if I were you, it is irrelevant. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 mins (2005-05-26 07:02:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Per procurationem is a Latin phrase meaning that you are signing the letter on somebody else\'s behalf; if they are not there to sign it themselves, etc. I have never seen it used apart from in translations from German, and \"i.A.\" is used all over the place in German, so I would simply leave it out. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 mins (2005-05-26 07:03:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- See John\'s answer here: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/868268 |
