Translation - English Dr Claudel Noumbissie: Getting rich (Part 3)
Nowadays the only recognized means that allows economic development, whether individually, in a community, or in a state way, is economic communitarianism. In the southern region, which is one of the least developed regions of Cameroon according to this study; this principle does not emerge for simple reasons. First, the leader is not respected because he has no money. Second, cultural principles are not respected and do not allow respect for the leader. Third, we have religion; religion has been very entrenched in the southern region and it is a tool of division! Why is religion a tool of division? If you meet a Catholic, a Protestant, and a Pentecostal, who you ask what it takes to get to heaven, each one will ask you to do what is taught in his own church. The Pentecostal will say that what the Catholic does is contrary to the will of God; the Catholic will say the same about the Protestant and the Protestant will say the same about the Pentecostal and the Catholic. The Muslim will also join in and say that all these religions are useless; the right thing to apply is what Allah asks to do. When people are already enrolled in religions, we cannot easily develop communitarianism, especially since our religions are different. If, for example, the Catholic asks the Pentecostal to join him in carrying out a project, the latter will ask him to join his religion first before they can carry out projects together. Religion therefore divides society and the need to effectively achieve economic communitarianism. This is one of the reasons that hinders the southern region from developing economically. It is a region where several religions and more specifically Christianity are most established. It is no accident that up to this day there is a war waged between the people of the West and religion. You will notice that in the main cities of West Cameroon, churches or rather religious brotherhoods are establishing themselves in a massive way with large investments. Because their goal is to achieve in the West what they have achieved in other regions to ensure that these regions do not develop economically. Because West Cameroon remains one of the regions where culture is still effectively inked in culture, and it is this culture that ensures that economic communitarianism develops and that the region can expand economically in a much more obvious and vivid way. So, for this first part, I will stop here to explain an example of economic communitarianism. In the second part, I will take other examples from other countries and other regions so that you can understand to what extent economic communitarianism is the only way to enrich yourself in a community and in a country. I am Claudel NOUMBISSIE and I will meet you in a future lesson.

Bio
I'm Narcisse from Cameroon, a bilingual country where French and English are the two official Languages. Having grown in that system, I sway between French and English though French is my first Language. I grew and studied in an environment where French was dominantly used. My studies from primary and secondary were done in French school, and English was learned as foreign language. My habits of speaking the two languages set in when I changed my neighbourhood (in 1999) for a new place where English was dominantly used on the daily basis: at the supermarket, in church. At that time, I joined an English club, and later I enrolled for an English training Programme in an NGO for six months; one year in another public English Training Centre; five years in the University studying English and French language which ended with my graduations (Bachelor 's degree and Master's), this includes studying Translation, Linguistics, French and English Literature. Morever I got trained and started teaching Spanish to SFL Students for three years (2011-2014). I'm a very hardworking and motivated guy suitable for any project in connection with my area of specialty. As a freelancer, I got my first big translation contract as a subcontractor in 2019 (it was about the translation of a project on the implementation of New pedagogical approaches in teaching in Professional Training Schools.), and translations for private companies ensued; but prior to that I started translation freelancing five years earlier. Now I own a language Training Centre where I devote 50 % of my work time teaching English ESL and EFL Students, who are generally learning English for academic and professional purposes, and 50%, for translation projects if there is any.
