Anyai dédnagymamám és Apai dédnagypapám.
Anyai déd nagymamámnak két lánya volt. Az idősebbet csak nevelték
9 hónapos kortól. Itt kicsit elkanyarodok, mert a dédnagymamám nevelte nagymamámat, mivel a trianoni szerződés miatt szétszakított ország megosztotta a családot. Nagymamám csecsemőként itt maradt Magyarországon, édesanyja elkerült Jugoszláviába. Nagykörösön éltek és nevelték két lányukat. Varrónőként dolgozott. Dédnagypapám üvegfúvó, majd a sors fintoraként kovács lett és láncokat készített. Nagykörösön éltek, a kisebbik lányuk elkerült korán Budapestre. Nagyobbik nevelt lányuk szintén, aki az én nagymamám. Dédnagymama később még Nagykőrösön az én édesanyámat is nevelte. Dédnagymamám később elköltözött Bajára a kisebbik lányához. Aki mint fogászati-asszisztensként dolgozott és oda ment férjhez. Majd ott a legkisebb nagynénémet is nevelte. Idős korára felkerült Budapestre az édesanyámékhoz, hozzánk. Dédnagypapámat nem ismeretem mivel korához képest korán meghalt.
Apai dédnagymamámat nem szintén nem ismertem, sajnos ő is korán meghalt. Dédnagypapám Fegyvereken élt, és mint cipész dolgozott.
Anyai nagyszüleim
Nagymamám vérszerinti édesanyját 39 éves korában ismerte meg, ekkor már gyermekei voltak. Egy ideig ők is Nagykőrösön éltek. Majd visszakerültek Budapestre.
Nagymamám viharos éveket élt meg a háború és nélkülözés következtében. Budapesten cselédként dolgozott és öt gyermeke született az első halva, majd édesanyám egy ikerpár leány és fiú, aki sajnos 3 éves korában meghalt. Majd még egy kislány. Mivel nagybátyám sérülten született, aki így született, dankóros volt. Édesanyám a nehéz körülmények miatt került déd nagymamámhoz. Nagykőrösre. Majd vissza Budapestre. Nagymamám cselédként, majd később házfelügyelőként dolgozott és nevelte gyermekeit. Idősebb korára szép és nyugodt élete volt. Egy súlyos betegség következtében meghalt. De szerencsémnek köszönhetem, hogy ismerni őt.
Nagypapám.
Öten voltak testvérek. Legkisebb öccse korán meghalt, majd idősebb öccse és húga. Nagypapám édesanyja elég korán okát igazából nem tudni, de felakasztotta magát egy karácsonyi napon, így unokáit ismerte ugyan, de ők már nem emlékeznek rá. Édesapja egy balestet következtében sérülést szenvedett és később vérmérgezésben meghalt. Korukhoz hoz képest mindkettő korán.
Nagypapám víz-gázszerelőként dolgozott, majd szép kort megélve infarktusban meghalt.
Szüleim, édesanyám.
Édesanyámnak két gyermeke született egy ikerpár egy fiú és egy leány, ez lennék én. Édesanyám fényképészként dolgozott nyugdíjas koráig. Nagynénéim még élnek. Nagybátyám meghalt az Ő alap állapotában szép kort jelentett. Idősebb nagynénémnek két gyermeke van, egy fiú, egy lány. Budapesten élnek. A fiatalabb nagynéném és férje Abonyban laknak, három gyermeke, van két fiú egy lány. A gyerekek mind itt élnek Budapesten.
Édesapám.
Édesapám szintén ikerpárnak az egyik tagja, az ő párja szintén fiú. Van egy édes és két féltestvére. Édesapám műbútorasztalosként dolgozott nyugdíjas koráig. Testvérei még élnek, ki Budapesten, ki vidéken.
Ikertestvérem fiú, szintén Budapesten él, és nagy öröm, idén megszületett kisfiúk. Szakácsént dolgozik, felesége most otthon van kisfiúkkal. Én férjnél vagyok, Budapesten élek és nekem van egy csodálatos párom meg egy fantasztikus kisfiam. Elvégeztem az egészségügyi iskolát. Jelenleg tanulok, tanulok, most értettem meg, erre mennyire nagy szükség van. Az életem úgy érzem teljes.

Minden embernek módja van hozzá. Egy szűk padlásszoba is lehet otthon. Egy pince is. Még egy gallyakból összetákolt sátor is otthon lehet. Ha az ember önmagából is hozzáad valamit. Translation - English My Family,
My maternal great-grandmother and my paternal great-grandfather.
My maternal great-grandmother had two daughters. The eldest, my grandmother, was raised by foster parents from the age of 9 months. I twist off a bit here; a consequence of the Treaty of Trianon was the truncation of the country which led directly to the division of the family. As an infant my grandmother remained here in Hungary, while her mother wound up a resident of Yugoslavia. The family who reared my grandmother lived in Nagykőrös where they brought up two daughters; one was their own and the other was my grandmother. She worked as a seamstress and my great-grandfather worked as a glassblower; a twist of fate later led him to become a forger who fabricated chains. They lived in Nagykőrös, but their own younger daughter relocated to Budapest at an early age. The elder daughter they fostered, my grandmother, soon after did likewise. Later on my great-grandmother raised my mother, also in Nagykörös. My great-grandmother eventually moved to Baja to live with her own younger daughter who worked as a dental assistant and got married there. It was here, in due course, that she also raised my youngest aunt. By the time she moved to Budapest to stay with my mother, living with us, she had reached old age. I never knew my maternal great-grandfather since he died at a younger age than he should have. In the same way, I never knew my paternal great-grandmother for, sadly, she also died at a young age. My paternal great-grandfather lived in Fegyvernek, where he worked as a cobbler.
My maternal grandparents
My grandmother was 39 years old and had children of her own when she was re-united with her biological mother. They too, lived in Nagykőrös for awhile before eventually returning to Budapest.
My grandmother subsisted through many tumultuous years of privation as a consequence of the war. She worked as a domestic in Budapest. She gave birth to five children the first of which was stillborn, then my mother, girl and boy twins (one of whom sadly died at the age of 3) and then another girl. My uncle was born with a medical condition, Down syndrome, which affected his muscular motor skills, causing spasms and twisting of the joints, thus leaving him physically disabled. It was these difficult circumstances which necessitated my mother being sent to live with my great-grandmother in Nagykőrös. Once things improved she was returned to Budapest. My grandmother, working as a domestic, later advanced into a position as a building superintendent and was able to raise her own children. By the time she reached a senior age her life became one of halcyon peace. She passed away following a grievous illness, but I think myself lucky for having had the chance to know her.
My grandfather
There were five siblings in all. My father’s youngest brother died at an early age, then there were two other younger brothers and a younger sister. My grandfather’s mother, for reasons which are not known, committed suicide at a younger age by hanging herself one Christmas day. While she did know her grandchildren, they were too young to remember her. My grandfather’s father suffered a traumatic injury as the result of an accident and later died of a septic infection. Both of them died at an earlier age than they should have. My grandfather worked as a water/gas-fitter, and after living a long life, died of a heart attack.
My parents, my mother
My mother had two children by way of twins, a boy and a girl, I am the latter. Mother was employed as a photographer until she retired. Her siblings are still alive, living in Budapest and other rural counties. My twin brother likewise lives in Budapest and, joy of joys, recently had a son. He works as a chef while his wife is at home with their son. I am married, living in Budapest, blessed with a wondrous husband and a fantastic young son. I graduated from medical school and am currently still studying and learning, having grasped the necessity of this. I feel my life is complete.

I was born in Canada to English and Hungarian parents. Translating comes naturally to me. My mother is English does not speak Hungarian and my paternal grandmother, who resided with us, did not speak English. I was acting as interpreter from a very early age.
