Would you tell us more about your business coach, what does this person advise you to do.
He advises me to do what I want to do And then he tells me when he thinks I got lost and when the things I "want to do" are perhaps less useful or leading me down the wrong track. He also points me to books etc where I can learn general business skills such as timekeeping, prioritising, marketing.
My coach is actually a marketing expert for sole traders and small companies as well, so he can give specific training for this. (All coaches have some special skills, I presume).
Surely being based abroad you can work as much as you like.
What do you mean?
I hate being snowed under, I think I only really measure my happiness, but money is important to me, and I wouldn't really be happy if I wasn't earning enough.
You can find a whole range of coaches - some are more 'material-world-oriented', others have more 'personal growth' approaches - the latter would be suitable for you: it helps to have an 'outside' observer who can point out when you are busy doing things that don't necessarily increase your happiness (according to your own definition of happiness, which you would work on together with the coach - a good coach would not impose his or her own definitions on you.)
Hope that's useful,
Craig
