Las prisas son malas consejeras

Spanish to English Other Linguistics familiar saying
Meaning of course the quicker you do s'th, the worse it turns out.
Is there a typical saying in English? I vaguely remember s'th about haste and waste, but I think that might be s'th else.
Its being used here in a hotel brochure, the idea is clearly "relax with us" etc
Thanks team!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks all and thanks Cindy, sterling work :o) it was between Haste makes waste, as Jorge suggested, or "Haste manages all things badly", I went for the latter as the context went on to say how stressed out managers were snowed under with work, so it fitted perfectly. Thanks to all, as always"
