Portuguese term

Recurso desaparelhado

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Law (general)
One can say Appeal lacking or lacks merit, or there is a better term. Thank you for your assistance.

A recorrente não embasa sua insurgência em nenhum dos requisitos do artigo 896 da Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho, razão pela qual o apelo encontra-se desaparelhado.

Just checking the number for Google hits https://tinyurl.com/y9akrs8r

approx. 24,500 hits......which means it's a widely used term for native English speakers......I recommend anybody posting a suggestion here on Kudoz to do this litmus test on Google and see if your suggestion is actually used in real life in the target language. Make sure you put your suggestion in between quotation marks (entre aspas) in Google.....if you don't do that, you'll get all kinds of weird results.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you all for the help, the answers seems to be good. I like your answer because the text says "A recorrente não embasa sua insurgência em nenhum dos requisitos do artigo 896 da Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho," não embasa and unfounded match well."
