German term

b.J.

German to English Law/Patents Government / Politics Abbreviation \"b.J.\"
I have a request for help to you in case of the German abbreviation "b.J.".

It is about a publication (daily magazine) from July 1917, which contains Austrian decisions, official acts, which are for example conferred decorations.

Some of these decisions are described with the date (only day and month, no year) that is earlier as the published magazine itself - and then there is expressed "d.J." - that should mean "dieses Jahres" ?

But the other decisions are described with the date (only day and month, no year) like August or October. And then there is expressed "b.J.".

So what means "b.J."? Does it mean "past (previous) year" ?
Proposed translations (English)
4 b.J. = d. J. =of that year

Proposed translations

b.J. = d. J. =of that year

I am quite sure that this is an OCR error where the "d" written in "Fraktur" or Black letter script is recognized by the program as a "b";
