I have already asked the client and got this reply:
Wirtschaftssubjekte sind laut Wirtschaftstheorie: Haushalte
(Konsumenten), Arbeitskräfte (Angestellte, Unternehmer), Unternehmen und
sonstige Organisationen. Sie sind AKTEURE im Wirtschaftsgeschehen (bzw.
sind sie auch der Wirtschaft ausgesetzt, aber das klingt bereits
wertend).
Despite this answer I still don't know how to translate this term into English. Surely I can't say "economic subjects"? This sounds like school subjects. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
