In the sentence "Des étais, isolés ou en batteries suivant l'importance des risques, ont été mis en place par les sapeurs-pompiers", I would like to confirm whether "en batteries" refers to the fact that not only were there individual props set up by the firemen but also "a series" of them elsewhere.
