French term

pas d'IVDt

French to English Medical Medical (general) patient medical report
This is under "Examen clinique"

HD stable avec TA 117/55, FC à 128/mim
BDC irrégulier sans souffle perçu
Pas d'IVDt

It seems like it wouldn't be hard to find, but I am coming up empty. I would appreciate some help!

I was thinking of "insuffisance ventriculaire droite" (with and extra "t" ??) but I don't know if that would be written on the clinical portion of the exam.

Thanks!
Proposed translations (English)
4 no right ventricular failure

Hi medeast - no problem! I just wasn't sure if that was something that could be detected on a clinical exam from listening to heart and lung sounds, and then I thought it was odd that only the right ventricle was mentioned, but again, I don't know what one can detect in such an exam. Thanks for your input!

Oops! Denise: I just noticed that you had suggested "insuffisance ventriculaire droite". So, we're obviously on the same wavelength.

no right ventricular failure

I suspect that this abbreviation stands for "insuffisance ventriculaire droite" in French.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks again medeast. I wasn't sure if "right ventricular failure" could be detected on clinical exam, but apparently the 3rd heart sound, "bruit de galop," is associated with right ventricular dysfunction. I feel like I need a little more info to enter it into the glossary, but I appreciate your help with this term."
