It's possible that the material to be moulded is in the form of pellets (reticulated) before being melted. This is usually the case for eg polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon etc.

"Réticulation" is the cross-linking of polymers and such like. I know nothing about chemistry, but it appears liquid silicone rubber cross links (polymerizes) when it hardens.

Would appear to be a "blind-'em-with-science" name for "mould" !
