Tir - Mise a feu des charges d'explosifs. What you see on TV when a decrepit building is blasted to smithereens. It's invariable remote-controlled.
The blasting is usually triggered electronically (remember those movies where they push down the lever and boom, dar she goes?). But I guess it can be radio-controlled as well although that could be dangerous since interference can trigger it inadvertently and...+*#/$!
