Rosa Alonso (asker) Jul 4, 2010:
In this case they are talking about "the person that performs all required duties to accurately identify, locate and apply devices, trim and miscellaneous items for shipment following established methods and procedures. Spot checks devices and parts packed for correctness of packaging, labels and other identification. Packs orders as required; Pulls stock from inventory location and move to Shipping Department."
I'm choosing to translate in this case Stager as Organizador

@Rosa What industry does this refer to? I'm thinking 'stager' might be something directly related to 'fuser cell' - for example in pottery/ceramics or something similar?

Stager/ Preparador de pedidos (?) It is true that the definition in the dictionary says "veterano" but the word stager comes from "stage manager" :someone who supervises the physical aspects in the production of a show and who is in charge of the stage when the show is being performed. The same way in shipping a stager is the person that performs all required duties to accurately identify, locate and apply devices, trim and miscellaneous items for shipment following established methods and procedures. Spot checks devices and parts packed for correctness of packaging, labels and other identification. Packs orders as required; Pulls stock from inventory location and move to Shipping Department.

veterano

Es lo que normalmente quiere decir en este contexto. Una persona con mucha experiencia.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Jennifer Levey : The ST says "He (s)tarted in the Shipping Department in 1999 as a Stager and then moved (up, presumably)...". That's hardly compatible with him being a 'veteran' - it's more like a kid fresh from school.
