This means that the buyer bears all risks and any additional costs occurring after the goods have been so delivered. However, in CIP the seller also has to procure insurance against the buyer's risk of loss of or damage to the goods during the carriage. CIP hlavné mesto Explanation: The three-letter acronyms are not to be translated because they are a part of internationaly recognized INCOTERMS 2000. INCOTERMS are standard trade definitions most commonly used in international sales contracts, they were devised and published by the International Chamber of Commerce.
