Det eneste jeg har funnet ut er at "notary public" er "notarius publicus". Utover det har jeg ikke funnet akkurat "notary deed" i noen ordbøker.

Jeg kan ikke forså annet enn at "notary..." og "...performed by Notary Public" betyr akkurat det samme og er "smør på flesk".
