I'm asking a little 6 year old girl to get out of bed because we have to be on the ship before 8:00 AM.

This would be the most common way of saying it in everyday Norwegian.
You usually ask someone to 'get up', literally 'stå opp' instead of asking them to 'get out of bed', literally, 'kom deg ut av sengen', which is not that polite.
Most Norwegians would also use the word 'båt' instead of 'skip' (meaning ship). When talking to a little girl, I would have used 'båt'.

I don't agree that 'Vær så snill å stå opp' is common in everyday Norwegian. We're usually not that polite, 'Nå må du stå opp' is far more common.
