שינוי קונפורמציה הוא שינוי הסדר המרחבי הרגעי של מולקולה מסויימת ללא שבירה של קשרים קוולנטיים.
שינוי זה נובע בעיקר מסיבוב של קשרים כימיים בודדים סביב ציר הקשר.
מידת השינוי בקונפורמציה מושפעת מאוד מהפרעות סטריות ונוכחותם של קשרים כפולים או משולשים במולקולה המפריעים לסיבוב חופשי סביב ציר הקשר.
